My past 12 years have been spent working with the Environment Department at the Key Lake Operation in Northern Saskatchewan for Cameco. Spent my first five years as a technician completing routine site monitoring and sampling. The remaining 7 years have been spent as the sites Environment Officer. This position requires me to review data from analyzed samples and complete routine reports required by multiple govermnent bodies. Environment Officers are also required to host audits conducted by multiple government bodies. Time as an Environment Officer is also spent mentoring and supervising the environment field technicians. Past experiences as a technician allows me to train and understand issues new and experienced technicians may have. Guidence and a focus on building a team that works well with eachother is my primary focus as a supervisor to achieve the best results possible.
