I am a PhD-level scientist in molecular genetics with experience in sales, customer relations, and project management. Now, I manage marketing activities related to contract manufacturing for Cell and Gene Therapy business segments.During my graduate work on Herpes Simplex Virus at the University of Florida, I became interested in understanding the strategies employed by the virus to establish and maintain a lifelong, latent infection despite constant immune surveillance, thereby launching my career-long passion for microbiology. Working heavily on NGS, CRISPR/Cas-9, and other bioinformatics-heavy assays, I became more interested in bioinformatics and Data science in the biotech realm, an interest which led to a sales position at Bio Basic Inc, a Life Sciences product and service provider. I moved to bioMerieux where I continued with account management and eventually moved to marketing for the bioproduction and cell and gene therapy strategic business segments.Now I am focused on marketing in the CDMO space for cell and gene therapy with Catalent Pharma Solutions.
