• Provide technical assistance to 19 adult education agencies receiving federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title II Adult Education and Family Literacy Act funds. • Monitor program compliance and performance through site visits, program quality reviews, and regular analysis of data. • Review and evaluate grant proposals and make funding recommendations to unit leadership.• Review budgets and amendments to ensure compliance with the Massachusetts Policies for Effective Adult Education in Community Adult Learning Centers and Correctional Institutions. • Member of the department’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee charged with the responsibility of helping the department become and an equity-focused and anti-racist organization.• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and standards designed to improve the adult education system in the Commonwealth.
