I lead a team of four project managers and three CAD designers in the end-to-end project management of switchgear and control panel solutions ensuring the effective on time, on budget delivery. This includes managing up to 15 own projects in addition to 25 across the rest of the team.My role includes scheduling work and providing technical and troubleshooting support to the team. I manage project scope, timelines and budgets and liaise with clients to manage expectations. I transitioned from AutoCAD to Eplan that improved electrical drawing efficiency by 70%. Additionally, I implemented Smart Sheets to enable real time sharing of project information across departments and suppliers that enhanced project communication and collaboration.A key project I delivered on-time and on-budget was a major €multi-million switchgear solutions for a large pharmaceutical manufacturing plant and data centre.

In this role I managed a team of 40 overseeing the production of all control equipment ensuring effective processes and procedures to ensure delivery to quality and technical specifications. This included overseeing scheduling of work after design approval through to factory acceptance testing.I led the planning and preparation of factory acceptance testing to ensure snags were resolved and worked closely with clients in the acceptance testing process. I restructured the production area into different specialisms that reduced waste and risk and speeded up the production process through increased specialisation. Additionally, I set up the 3D CAD design office including recruiting a team of three in an initiative that eliminated need for power tools and increased accuracy of drawing measurements.

Here I set up a new overflow production facility for smaller projects including recruiting and coaching a team of 15 and implementation of machines and all factory processes and procedures. I provided day-to-day management of up to 20 projects a month for projects that included LV switchgear and electrical fitouts of E houses. As qualified quality controller, I tested all electricals of E houses and switchgear and managed factory acceptance testing with clients and consultant engineers.

I assisted the production manager in overseeing the end-to-end production process ensuring adherence to quality standards and effective completion of projects. Managing a team of up to 10, I assisted and troubleshot any issues to ensure the smooth journey through the production process.

I combined sales and technical support for projects following up enquiries to define specification, providing estimates and managing customer relationships through to order. This included providing additional technical support to the project team in ensuring accuracy of drawings to technical specifications.

I managed a team of two in carrying out internal tests and quality assurance prior to leading the factory acceptance process with clients. I also carried out annual maintenance and servicing of switchgear and full functional testing of panels.

In this role I set up a new workshop for this company designing and manufacturing motor control centres. This included developing relationships with clients. I brought in a substantial amount of new business and recruited and managed a team of 12.

I managed the production of motor control centres throughout the manufacturing process through to factory acceptance testing.
