Working firsthand with QA department on possible product holds/product outside of specification target. I am also a member of plant HACCP and F22K teams on site for yearly external audits.FY 2014 improved oat flaking yields to +$732,515 over standard by minimizing flake waste through the development of projects that focused around flake loss and maximizing moisture specifications for flaked products. FY2013 improved flour yield to +$614,000 over standard through increasing employee awareness of conditions that drove yields to be negative and corrective actions possible for such situations.FY2013 improved instant oat milling yield to +$440,115 over standard also through increased employee awareness of "hot spots"​ to check if mill was running optimally and providing feedback of what adjustments could be made.Outside of my area of responsibility I enjoy leading our Movember group for men's cancer awareness campaign on site, recruiting at various career fairs, and participating in 2 of our employee resource groups: the young professional's group, and the LGBT equal group on site as a straight ally member.
