The project team also specified and designed the solids separation equipment (i.e. centrifuges, conveyors, etc.).The project design effort included structural support steel, process and utility piping routing, sizing, and stress analysis reviews, electrical power distribution, cable tray, wiring, lighting design and lighting power distribution, instrumentation specification, installation, and the specification and approval of drawings for the distributed control system. -

My responsibilities included taskforce budget and resource oversight, management of project managers, engineers, engineering discipline leads, project controls, and administrative support personnel.Key Taskforce Project Highlights- VRU-300 Revamp - $40MM unit upgrade with a $6.0MM engineering budget for the upgrade of the saturated gas plant, including tower, exchanger, pump, compressor, piping and auxiliary support upgrades.- H-200 ULNB Conversion - $25MM unit upgrade with a $2.5MM engineering budget for the upgrade of the crude heater to ultra-low NOx burners, including an SIS system and a new knockout drum.- Storm Water Surge Tank – $30MM tank farm expansion with a $2.0MM engineering budget for the field erection and installation of 250,000 bbl API surge tank and associated tank mixing system.- Final Filters - $7.5MM final filter installation and field erection with a $1.5MM engineering budget.- Marine Docks - $2.5MM installation of new ground flare equipment with a $750,000 engineering budget. -

Successfully increased gross margin by 76% and delivered the system two months ahead of schedule.- Successfully managed and executed a High Solids Crystallizer Addition Project for E.B.Eddy Forest Products in Espanola, Ontario and achieved an overall gross margin improvement of about 20%.- Improved scheduled start-up dates at the Murrin-Murrin jobsite by one month and expedited the completion of field work for an on schedule system start-up. Directed a field staff of five and provided scope change oversight on a $4.5MM field subcontract.- Implemented an immediate action plan to resolve critical field issues for the Boise Cascade Evaporator upgrade in Deridder, LA. -
