Responsibilities included management of raw materials, tooling manufacturing, and heading (forging area). 70+ direct reports across a 24 hours production schedule. Responsible for the operations of a complex functional area involved in the casting of aerospace turbine blade and vanes. Managed over 50 salary and unionized hourly direct reports. Oversaw the operation and maintenance of over 20 vacuum casting furnaces. Responsible for area P&L and capital improvements. Increasing operational efficiencies and reduced variable costs by implementing a variety of new processes, procedures, products, and behaviors.
