I have 15+ years in construction. Most recently I was working at Holmes Building Systems as Production Manager. I worked there for 2 years. Before HBS I worked for Clayton Homes for 10+ years as Team Leader. My responsibilities were material management, making sure we had the correct material on time. I also reviewed orders and checked plans to make sure everything was correct to release to production. I managed departments to ensure everything was running smoothly and on schedule. Another responsibility was to communicate any changes, whether it was plans or prints, to department supervisors. Keeping up with all tools and creating a procedure to ensure team had all of the tools needed to complete the job. Maintained a clean and safe workplace for team. Management of all hours for production and minimizing overtime. Keeping up with all inspections on plant equipment and scheduling repairs as needed. Hiring team members for positions that needed to be filled. Advertising for new hires to come apply. Tracking points and disciplinary actions on all team members as needed. Training team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Inspecting all homes to ensure quality standards were met on all product. Motivate team and management to meet all goals on safety, production and quality.
