Rutherford Cross are the Senior Finance arm of specialist search and selection firm Livingston James Group. Responsible for the delivery of Qualified Accountancy Interim and Contract solutions to Commerce & Industry, Public Sector and Financial Services clients across Scotland.

Joined as a Consultant specialising in the supply of Part Qualified Accounting temporaries in Glasgow. Managed the Ayr Office in 2000/2001. Subsequently responsible for a team of 7 Consultants delivering Temporary Finance and Office Support services from the Glasgow office in 2001/2002. Promoted to Business Director in 2006 delivering Qualified Accounting temporaries and interims to mainly public and some private sector clients in the West of Scotland. Typical placements included: Director of Finance, Head of Finance, Financial Controller, Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager, Head of Corporate Services, Systems Accountant, Management Accountant and Financial Accountant.

Full time Tennis Coach for 3 years from September 1993 until being promoted to the position of Tennis Manager in November 1996. Supervised 5 Full Time and 2 Part Time Tennis Coaches at the Renfrew Club. Co-Ordinated the Adult and Junior Coaching Programmes, Teams and Tournaments. Played in the Men's First Team in 2 Scottish Cup Finals (Winners in 1994 and Runners-Up in 1995). Scottish No. 19 ranked Men's Singles Tennis player in 1996.
