My last full time position was in a Dev Ops role supporting new systems being installed in Registers of ScotlandWorking with Spigraph to successfully deliver a new high speed Scanning solution to RoS. This system digitises paper submissions and eliminates the need for documents to travel around the Business.I am Administering and improving the system via IBML SoftTrac software .The scanning solution sends data to our new content management system (Pega) In my role I have been working alongside Pegasystems staff to learn the system. Being involved in both these systems allows me to support any issues from the start of scan to end of registration of the property deeds.Gained an understanding of Active Roles as this acts as the security sign in for Pega. Using PGAdmin to view the Postgres database details for this system.Working alongside the Business Analyst, Product Owner, Developers and the Test Team I have helped to deliver new functionality to the Registers of Scotland.Recently having been trained on the new Pega and SoftTrac systems, i successfully trained a new colleague who is now comfortable supporting these systems.During my time at this company I have also taken on the role of a first aid officer which also included being on a driver rota. This involved driving unwell workers home, to their doctor or hospital depending on the seriousness of the illness.
