Managed three mine sites with production of over 1 million tons annually across the sites. Provided guidance and assistance to quarry superintendents on daily production, costs, maintenance, mine planning, environmental, and safety. Established work plans and project schedules including personnel management. Drove efforts to improve efficiency in production, quality and utilization of equipment, products, and personnel. Interfaced with sales, hot mixed asphalt, ready mix concrete, and quality control. Coordinated portable crushing applications for production of aggregates and reclaimed asphalt pavement.

Provided support to the Quarry Operations Manager including production, maintenance, quality control, mine planning, and environmental requirements. Assisted in the design and install of a $3 million crushing circuit. Retrofitted and installed several pieces of equipment including jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, washing equipment, dust suppression systems, and mine drainage pipe/pumps. Troubleshooted many issues in order to keep production costs effective and continuous.

Worked in the engineering department on several projects including time studies on new top-cut designs. Mapped utilities underground and updated the online database for the mine layout. Completed cost analysis of rock reinforcement drill rig.

Operated/repaired equipment and processing facilities for production. Rebuilt and installed new pump for tailings disposal.
