I lead our technical marketing efforts in Southern Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. I am part of various marketing teams (product line based and region based). My main objective is to educate consultants and municipalities on pipe design and applications. I provide lunch and learn presentations on a wide range of topics including: rigid vs flexible products, design methods, axial jacking and other various underground related topics.Daily tasks include the following:- Handle technical enquires from consultants and contractors.- Estimating and quoting various jobs. Market analysis is constantly required in order to formulate competitive quotations.- Working with our accounting software in order to prepare month end financial forecasts.- Relationship building.- Administration of Plant Prequalification Program.- Research of our products.- Structural design of pipe, bases, and slabs.I have worked on some very interesting projects:- Project 85 (Investors Group Field)- Kenaston Commercial Development- Various residential developments in Regina, Brandon, and Winnipeg.- MIT Highway Culvert work.- The Chief Peguis Extension.- The Combined Sewer Separation

Worked with other members of the project team (project managers, superintendents, project assistants etc.) in order to get projects done on time and on budget. Coordinated sub trade contracts, change orders, and tenders. Worked on document control related to specifications, shop drawings, and construction drawings. Worked in the estimating and tendering process.

Field Engineer - Fort McMurray, ABLayout of benchmarks and other points of interest using various surveying equipment. Document control of drawings and specifications. Generated procedures for safe work practices. Assisted foremen and the superintendent with crew management, as well as, engineering drawing interpretation. Monitored the shipping and receiving of material.Design Work - Niagara-On-The-Lake, ONAssisted in the structural design of spheres, primary separation cells, flat bottom tanks and other pressure vessels.
