I have now Retired and enjoying life after work.Derek Lines was a Delta Senior Project Managr for the Central Otago region. He has 40 years experience in the electricity industry. Derek has extensive experience in planning and Project management, outage planning, customer liaison, system control operations, installation and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution networks, HV Metering and streetlight installation and maintenance. Prior to coming to Delta Derek spent 15 years at NZ Aluminium Smelters including 1 year on the Design/Construction Team for Potline 4.Recently, he has supervised major works across the Central Otago area which include various substation builds, irrigation supplies and contract management.Derek was the Project Manager for the Lindis Crossing and Camphill Zone Substation projects and most recently managed the Accelerated Pole Replacement Programme for Aurora Energy.
