Develop technologies related to Polycrystalline Diamond Cutter performance, applications and manufacturing. Work in and lead teams. Supervise, coach and mentor multiple direct reporting engineers in functional skill, problem solving skill & career development.Lead a team of engineers in the development of ultra High Pressure High Temperature (uHPHT) [>6.0 GPa] processes, materials and product platforms. This team is responsible for the proper function of core US Synthetic technologies & related product launches. Collect and manage usable knowledge for use in product manufacturing processes, product development integration events and continuous improvement efforts. Organize and establish training modules for engineers and product development staff.

Technology development and problem-solving relevant to ultra-high pressure (>6 GPa) technology. Develop core technology principles and practices. Apply LEAN & PDCA principles to development of manufacturing processes, team management & team outputs. Polycrystalline Diamond Cutter (PDC) product development. -Computational process modeling (FEA, MPM, FDM) of uHPHT process-Cemented tungsten carbide (WC-Co) failure analysis-Characterized root-cause of failure modes & developed sustainable countermeasures-Developed use of statistical reliability method currently utilized for improved analysis of field test data

-Managed acquisition and installment of over 35 uHPHT cubic presses ($30MM) in under 2 years resulting in 40% capacity increase to meet fast growing customer needs-Assisted in development of research tools-Designed and developed safety, maintenance & other miscellaneous equipment related to HPHT press technology
