I am a retired 23 year veteran of the Detroit Police Department. I last worked as the Administrative Sergeant at the Detroit Detention Center, where I was in charge of detainee tracking and compliance. I spent 15 years on patrol in the 13th Precinct/Central District. Much of that time was spent in a Traffic Enforcement capacity. In 2013, I was promoted to Sergeant and was transferred to the 5th Precinct where I worked as a Midnight shift patrol supervisor and later as the Administrative Sergeant, overseeing Department of Justice Compliance, Training, and Community Relations. My special training includes having completed Accident Investigation 1-9 through MSU's Highway Traffic and Safety program, which includes Crash Reconstruction.I am proficient in Microsoft Office, and am able to learn any other software or technology needed. I am open to new experiences as I transition to post law enforcement life.
