I have been working as freelance conulting engineer since 1999. During this time I have visited some 60 countries and given papers on different subjects at several conferences. My specialist fields are high voltage test equipment design and use and protection system testing. I started the company in December 1980 after spending some 18 years in the electrical power test and measurement field. I was responcible for all aspects of the company's operation. In that period of time the company gained a reputation for product innovation and reliability. These products included test systems for protection testing, field meter testing and the testing of types of electrical plant. The company exported products to over 90 countries in the years that I was managing director.

I was responcible for the design, manufacture and marketing of very high voltage and very high current electrical test systems. These included impulse generators, HV parallel and series resonant test systems, DC test systems, oil test sets, primary and secondary current injection test system. HV power supplies for electron beam welding, heating and purification.
