The WGLA works to encourage understanding and recognition of the heritage of The Windrush Generation and its descendants through broadening the appreciation of their diverse legacy.

Now semi-retired after about 25 years helping organisations to use the EFQM Excellence Model, including running D&D Excellence as an independent business with Dave Richards after 2000. I helped organisations to use the Model in the UK, in mainland Europe, USA, Africa, and UAE; in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, and for all sizes of organisation. Dave Richards and I assessed over 60 organisations for Recognised for Excellence for the BQF.I am still working with a few 'direct' clients to help them use the Model, including Dave and I occasionally working together for some.Various photographic interests seem to be taking an even greater significance, interest and amount of time than before!

Supporting organisations in their use of the EFQM Excellence Model through training, coaching, facilitating self-assessments, helping with development of award submissions, etc. Will still be working with Dave Richards for this sort of task, continuing our long-established and highly-regarded ‘D&D Excellence’ reputation.

We support organisations using the EFQM Excellence Model, and also undertake 3rd party assessments for Excellence bodies. For example the Levels of Excellence scheme for EFQM and BQF, Towards Excellence for London Excellence.

Based in the head office but primarily facilitating and supporting business units across the Group to make use of the EFQM Excellence Model.

Implementing major revision of the family of balanced scorecards in the UK retail banking division.

Leading variety of quality/change related projects, including benchmarking strategic scorecard and internal customer service surveys. Early experience with the EFQM Excellence Model, supporting early adopters of the Model in the Group.

Delivering major project to 3000+ branches aligning service and sales approaches.

Variety of roles, including front-line branch work in the City of London and Brixton. Also worked in area lending function, and central Planning Unit.
