In May 2013, I started a part-time business which provides media coverage to grassroots sporting competitions. The business promotes the Mortlock Football League on a weekly basis via a weekly live stream audio match broadcasts, football, hockey and netball podcasts via Facebook and promotion of the League via Facebook and Twitter. Frontier Sports Media also broadcast the Grand Finals for the Central Wheatbelt and Central Midlands Coastal Leagues, as well as the 2015 ‘A’ Section Senior Country Week Cricket Final. I am involved in all operational aspects of the business and a second person is involved as a commentator and does production work.

Forrestfield

In this role, I am responsible for assisting clients with their overseas relocations. The role involves fielding enquiries, client liaison, engaging ancillary services (e.g. arranging for the crating of possessions), as well as the co-ordination and forwarding of export consignments. This involves liaising with freight forwarders and destination agents to ensure the forwarding, clearance and delivery of consignments to meet timeframes.

East Perth

In this role, I was responsible for the day to day operation of the W.A.C.A. District competition. This involved creating fixtures, confirming results and ladders, interpreting rules and making decisions on issues, the processing of permits and clearances, liaising with the 16 District clubs, acting as Match Day Manager for key District Cricket matches and also the coordination of club council meetings in the capacity of secretary of the W.A. District Cricket Council (Inc.). I managed the W.A.C.A. Score Service team, who compile the District scores for insertion into the print media and I was also the main contact for the MyCricket system in Western Australia.

East Perth

In this role, I was responsible for the day to day administration of the peak body for country cricket, the W.A. Country Cricket Board. This included the off-field management of all W.A. Country representative teams, organising and managing Senior and Junior Country Weeks and the Country Cup, acting as Match Day Manager for key matches, as well as the Country XI and Country Colts representative sides. As the secretary of the W.A. Country Cricket Board, I was responsible for assisting regional boards and associations with any queries and issues, as well as the administration of the Country Cricket Board.This role also required me to act in similar roles for CricketWest (the peak body for senior community cricket), administer the National Club Insurance Program for all cricket clubs in the state, provide administration support to the Cricket Officer Manager in the coordination and management of the Regional Cricket Officers and to act as the coordinator for the Lord’s Taverners Indoor Centre, which included bookings and maintenance and equipment management.
