The first copy of Road to Redemption was released on September 3, 2021; however, after a lot of reflection and prayer, I decided to revise a second edition of the book, which was published on July 1, 2024. This book is about my life testimony of finding Christ, and the following is a brief summary of what it is about.What is hope? Humans crave hope. Every day, a stronger yearning emerges. In today's environment, it appears that at every step, we encounter hopelessness. From the COVID-19 pandemic to political instability, war rumors, natural calamities, and a slew of other terrible events, we are living in a time of despair. Where can we find hope? Is there such a thing as hope? If so, where can one find true hope?Particularly in today's society, people frequently ask all of these questions. Many of us find hope in a variety of things, including relationships, drinks, drugs, food, political parties, and more. However, what if I told you that these things would only provide you with fleeting hope? Hope is present one minute but gone the next. However, there is something, or rather, someone, who can provide everlasting hope.Throughout the Road to Redemption, you will see my journey of trying to find something to relieve my anguish, which led me to discover true, everlasting hope that freed me from the hopelessness I felt within. I want to share the same hope that I discovered with you, as well as point you in the direction of true, everlasting hope!

At Charles Schwab, I had the job of helping clients resolve account-related technical issues as well as enhance their customer experience by directing them to the appropriate resources to help answer different financial questions. Over the course of four months, I helped over 200 clients resolve their account-related issues and scored a 92% on my customer service OSAT score, which measures your customer service rating. During my 4-month internship, I developed my listening skills to better meet the needs of individuals. Furthermore, I learned the vital importance of “seeing through the client's eyes” and how companies should always put the customer first and help enhance and add value to their experience. Also, I discovered that, despite being a part of a large corporation, you should still treat every individual as a person and cultivate a relationship with them, as they bear the image of God. Finally, as a co-worker, I learned that jealousy and selfishness are the two major causes of division in the workplace. As a team, you should never have the hidden intention of competing with others around you to get the upper position over them; rather, you should be willing to help them achieve their goals and celebrate them when they do, even if they do it before you.

For the majority of my undergraduate degree, I was able to be part of a non-profit organization called FHL Community Inc. that was at the forefront of battling food insecurity. During my time at the organization, I was in charge of creating marketing plans and content for their year-end giving, RIde2EndHunger, and their new SaltView information technology. Moreover, I wrote many articles for the organization that talked about a wide variety of topics, such as the decline of the church in America, food insecurity in America, and the state of the food pantry. I also authored a research paper that delved into the causes of food insecurity on college campuses and explored potential solutions to these issues. Furthermore, I was part of helping FHL grow their annual Ride2EndHunger event, where I was able to help create a partnership with Harley Davidson and grow the event by 15 riders in its second year. Finally, I consulted on a new website and information system they were testing in food pantries across Indiana. During my tenure at FHL, I discovered that every individual, regardless of their small contribution, holds significant value in addressing any problem. I learned the importance of technology and how it can help others provide more value, especially in the landscape of food insecurity.

Throughout my tenure at Rick Mount Shooting Camp, I became more of an outspoken person after having to lead various basketball drills and camp activities. Furthermore, I was in charge of camp operations, communicating with several different organizations about catering, filming, and other activities that were critical for camp success. Overall, during my tenure, I gained a deeper understanding of patience and the importance of adapting to individual learning styles to ensure their success.

Growing up playing basketball, I developed a passion for leadership. After graduating from high school, I wanted to pursue and grow my passion, so I joined the Traders Point Christian Academy Basketball team to help cultivate Christ-like character in the players while also helping them grow into better basketball players. During my time with the program, I was an assistant coach for both the JV and Varsity levels, where I helped develop game winning strategies that resulted in an overall 37 and 35 varsity record. Additionally, I worked with players by individually training them by helping go over game film as well as individual one-on-one training to help players' weak points in their games. Over the course of my coaching career, I enhanced my ability to identify and develop individuals' weak points. Furthermore, I learned the fundamental truth that leadership is about having humility and a servant's heart every day.
