Current role is Senior Marine Class Inspector and IRATA Level 3 Safety Supervisor, leading a rope access team to inspect large offshore structures.My role requires technical input into integrity management activities for the condensate storage, ballast, and other tanks, and associated structures, providing assurance of integrity to Marine Class Rules enforced by the DNV-GL Classification Society. This role is integral to the safe ongoing operations of this Major Accident Hazard (MAH) installation, and furthermore the maintenance of Class accreditation is integral to the licence to operate the facility. My original occupation as an Outdoor Educator following University, delivering experiences in the outdoors as a vehicle for learning, and personal development, instilled in me beliefs, and qualities, that I have applied to all my roles during the last couple of decades.I also have a passionate interest in music and the arts which has found me co-ordinating and assisting local band Powder Chutes as they recorded and released their debut single and EP, and I currently run both their social media and website, including the design of posters and cover art.Currently struggling with the practicalities of working overseas with an unknown timeframe to the border restrictions.
