I have in-depth knowledge and experience in the planning, development, administration, and maintenance of IT support systems in corporate, manufacturing and small business environments. I specialize in providing customer service, application development and support along with best practice solutions in extremely demanding environments. I am currently the lead for Plant Infrastructure for the Corrugated division of Georgia-Pacific, managing approximately 40 plants worldwide.I have worked extensively for the government as the technical lead for a web-based data mining suite. Before being promoted, I worked for the Office of Naval Intelligence as the primary desk side and phone support person, using Remedy for ticket management. After promotion, I was in charge of supporting over 35 sites with 100+ servers and respective clients worldwide on a 24/7 basis.I recently worked for Park Place Technologies supporting their longest contract customer, Georgia-Pacific. I was a member of a seven-person team providing level two and three support to their Packaging, Dixie, Container Board and Cellulose divisions, and our superior customer service, technical knowledge and support has enabled Park Place to win a significantly larger portion of the GP business. I did both hardware and software support of desktops and servers, along with some network configuration. I currently am the business technical lead for plant infrastructure for over 40 corrugated Georgia Pacific plants. I am responsible for maintaining the business network, from the circuits and fiber through the switches and routers to the desktops, laptops and other devices using the data. I serve as the project manager for all improvements and changes being made to infrastructure in general as well as specific software support. I manage contractor support as well as provide guidance on third party support initiatives to the plants. I deal with both the business and process (OT) networks, as well as maintain and support the DMZ.
