Since joining JLT I have been involved in a number of projects primarily to ensure that the transition from Towers Watson has been successfully completed. The various activities include the following:De-authorisation of the Towers Watson Company as per FCA rulesIntroduction of a procedure for dealing with FATCA Co-ordinator for Federal Excise TaxPart of the team to implement the new JLT operating model following the transition from Towers Watson..I am also involved in “Business Control”, this is an integral part of the JLT 1st line of defence which also includes an internal review segment to ensures that the business is complying with the Operating Procedures Manual and regulatory issues. I was a pivotal member of the project team to successfully implement the migration of the technical accounts team from London to Mumbai. I have made regular visits to Mumbai to recruit staff and train new staff. The transition has now been successfully completed. Our team in Mumbai is fully operational.I am now working on a project to implement a new operating system with responsibility for training and UAT.

My career from 1999 through to 2012 has been continuous through the sale and subsequent purchases of the company. Whilst the name and company ownership has changed my position within the Company remained Director in charge of reinsurance technical accounts. The original portfolio was predominantly a North American non-marine account. However, following the purchases the portfolio was extended to include marine, London market and European non marine accounts.Achievements:Manage a change programme following the changes of ownership. Successfully developed and introduced a number of electronic innovations including IMR usage, direct load, automated DRI transmissions and e-accounts.Developed a paperless office introducing a document management system and subsequent workflow functionality Responsibilities:Manage a technical accounting team that were client focused ensuring that SLAs were met. The SLAs included the measurement of process performance, the management of unallocated cash and signing queries identifying and enable resolution. Additionally, monitor and manage the market measurement functions including Right First Time and actual payment date analysis.In addition to the day to day management of the team I was the co-ordinator for the following activities:Federal Excise TaxRevenue Sharing AgreementsBroker of record transfers

In 1980 I moved from the Reinsurance Division specifically to manage the transition of Aviation Reinsurance business from one division to the another.The transition included the creation of a team of 30 to provide the technical accounting capability for the Aviation reinsurance book of business.I successfully introduced a workflow system which was technician specific providing management information relating to performance SLAs and flow management.My role was to manage the day to day operation of the team which included premium, claims and proportional treaty activities for a world-wide Aviation book of business.Provide management information to the Aviation management board.Manage staff including performance reviews, recruitment, identify training needs and general support.
