About Derek O'Keeffe

Strong passion for all things fitness and football. Having arrived in Canada in 2010 for many years I combined those two passions. From a fitness perspective I have worked in public and private fitness environments. Roles have included a 1-1 trainer, group fitness coach, Assistant Director and currently Executive Director delivering fitness education to New Brunswick Fitness Professionals.I believe one should always seek to further their education and develop as a professional but more importantly as a person. In football, I have a UEFA A soccer coaching licence which I acquired through the Football Association of Ireland. Notable roles are youth coach of New York Red Bulls, youth coach Vaughan SC, head coach of Aurora FC and Technical Director or Simcoe County Rovers (League 1 Ontario)Currently Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Mount Allison University (USports)
