Began an apprenticeship in 1994 with one of munsters largest mechanical contractors. Continued from there to other contractors and quickly worked my way up to become a charge hand and subsequently a foreman. I also ran several maintenance contracts, including Aib banks and Super Value stores, amongst Others. Duties included all preventative and corrective measures as well as liaising with management and staff to minimise disruption to trade. From there I went on to become a contracts manager with one of corks largest mechanical firms, managing several contracts which included all trades as well as spreadsheets and waste management systems. During the downturn, I went back to college and studied to become a healthcare assistant. It is a job I was always interested in and while I had the opportunity took advantage if it. It is two of the most eye opening years I've had. After the course I secured a job working with dementia patients, as a result I've developed extremely advanced communication skills as well as strict record keeping. I've since returned to the construction sector, and have brought my newly learned skills with me. I now work for one of Europe's largest engineering company's, and have worked on several, Forbes 500 sites. I'm extremely hard working and always looking to learn new skills.
