Along with a relaxed and friendly approach to clients, he proves popular and in demand.Over the years, Derek has also carved out a name for himself cutting many commercials, short films, music promos, and film trailers for some of Ireland’s box office successes, including Adam & Paul and Song for a Raggy Boy.THE HISTORY BIT FOR THOSE OF YOU STILL READING...Cutting since 1995, he began his career as assistant to veteran editor Brian Cash (Eat the Peach, U2: Outside It's America), before taking on freelance work with Promedia and other various production companies. Derek joined The Mews as an editor in 1998, which became Reelgood Facilities in 2001, and this is where he really began to hone his craft. Fast forward to 2015, and Derek took on the challenge of senior editor for Raygun in Dublin, Ireland.
