Obtained my City & Guilds (Basic & Advanced) in 1992 after doing a 4 year apprenticeship in Plumbing and from then on have worked in the Plumbing industry on Building sites and general maintenance for many years.I have also worked for Wolseley Plumb Center and Travis Perkins for a few years in between working on the tools. I have also gained technical plumbing knowledge working at manufacturers of Plumbing materials at Hunter Plastics Ltd and Marley Plumbing and drainage (now known as Aliaxis UK) in the Technical Department.In my current role as Senior Design Engineer for Aliaxis UK I undertake Soil & Waste designs along side Rainwater calculations and Below ground Drainage design and have excellent knowledge of Building Regulations and British Standards in relation to the Plumbing Industry.
