- Was instrumental in leading and supporting a major company initiative to roll out new Bamboo packages. Played a central role in supporting multiple teams to ensure package rollout went as smooth as possible- Took an ownership role in supporting / instructing other Bamboo engineering teams about how packaging and product features work at Bamboo. This included making improvements where necessary so that our architecture would work for current and future company needs

- Was the technical leader of the monitization team. Work other engineers were doing often required signing off by me, often requiring input and suggestions. Part of the work here was to also ensure these engineers were growing technically in their careers, and to teach and instruct where necessary.- Worked in a high functioning "trio" (Product Manager / Designer / Tech Lead) whose responsibility was to create a product road map for BambooHR's monitization team, and to ensure the work on that road map was fully fleshed out and ready for engineers to begin development. Our trio was especially unique because our team routinely had to work / integrate with many other departments to successfully complete the goals we were setting, making the process more difficult and complex- As tech lead, my role was to manage feasibility risk in the trio. Beyond that, our trio was highly successful because we pushed on each other, each of us wearing all three "hats" at times as we discussed problems and solutions, to ensure what came out of our trio was the best it could be- Routinely completed team quarterly goals- Helped successfully launch in-app self service options to purchase various Bamboo packages and products, while making sure the solutions were architected in a way that made adding new packages and products in the future simpler and faster to launch

- Recognized that no team or person was owning our accounting software integration and related sync, and that it was costing us greatly both in customer and engineering support. On my own initiative, with support from my manager, I took it upon myself to own it and fix the many problems that existed at the time- Spent time on our platform team to support other engineering teams and to build out internal tools for both engineering and other various departments- Helped launch features that drastically reduced billing support tickets to ensure the billing support team could scale with Bamboo without further hiring

- One of a select few engineers chosen to form a new team purposed to move our legacy codebase onto a brand new Lumen framework. This involved working with our senior architect and a small team to rethink and rebuild existing solutions and implement them more efficiently and cleanly on Lumen, as well as designing new features and rest endpoints for our mobile apps and react web app. Implemented a heavy Redis caching system to speed up request response times.- Was tasked with architecting and building our brand new public API. Owned the vast majority of this project from end to end.

- Developed new features on both the frontend and backend for our web app.- Helped build and manage REST endpoints for our mobile development teams.
