Throughout his career, Derek has championed cutting-edge technology and has made it his mission to bring these breakthrough treatments to the marketplace and patients. During the past 20 years, Derek has cultivated existing facilities and opened new diagnostic nuclear imaging centers including 13 imaging centers and 8 cancer treatment centers across Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Texas. Derek is currently developing a network of centers focused on precision diagnostics and therapy, with an emphasis on PET/CT and MR imaging.Through a partnership with Dr. Rajiv Chopra, Derek continues to focus on new technologies that will redefine the landscape of nuclear imaging and prostate cancer treatment that may soon be life-changing for cancer patients and others in Oklahoma and across the region.Along with the ground-breaking new TULSA-Procedure for treating prostate cancer, Perigon Imaging will produce PSMA, a “prostate-imaging” drug recently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration with potential to change the course of care for prostate cancer, the second-leading cause of cancer death for men in the U.S. Perigon Imaging will be the first in the area to manufacture novel medical isotopes for the imaging market, with an initial focus on PSMA for prostate cancer detection.Along with PSMA, Perigon Imaging’s cyclotron will be one of only approximately a dozen in the U.S. used to manufacture ammonia N-13, an extremely potent cardiac drug with a half-life of just 10 minutes.Derek looks forward to answering any questions you may have about all of these exciting new ventures.

  Home of the Tulsa-Procedure (Transurethral Ultrasound Ablation), a ground-breaking, incision-free procedure that uses directional ultrasound to ablate targeted prostate tissue.
