Lead a team of experienced sales professionals focused on bringing Current's energy efficiency and optimization solutions to the top 100 retailers in the US and Canada. This can include sophisticated LED lighting and wireless controls solutions, and increasingly, software based platforms which collect asset data, and optimize operational control across varied equipment providers in HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, among other disparate systems.

Current, powered by GE was created in October of 2015, and I remained in the role of General Manager for the Canadian P&L. Current was created to bring an integrated energy solution model to the market, which included LED lighting & controls, energy storage, solar energy, electric vehicle charging, and GE's energy management software. Our customer targets expanded in scope with these solutions, and the opportunities within existing customers became much broader. Energy storage and EV charging were particularly relevant to the Canadian market.

Accountable for commercial simplification and making GE Lighting "easier to do business with". Shared best practices globally, and helped to establish commercial operations teams in the EU and Latin America.

GE Lighting Solutions is an integrated manufacturer of LED lighting systems and traditional lighting fixtures, and part of GE Lighting. The new Commercial Services Organization provides strategy and execution across the following functions: pricing, customer fulfillment, project management, technical support and lighting design.

Led a team of product managers and marketers responsible for GE Lumination's strategic LED business segments. The PM and Marketing teams drove all aspects of product line vitality, and brand management. Reported to the VP of Marketing.

Managed development and commercialization of GE's first LED products for general and architectural lighting. Utilized GE Lighting's global reach to develop channel and go-to-market strategy for sales.
