My name is Derek Rubio. I have 10+ years of experience with customer service, face-to-face sales as well as internet sales background. With that experience I have learned to be empathetic and understanding to the customer's needs and not relying on getting a quick sale but rather building a long-lasting relationship with a customer so that they feel comfortable and trusting in coming back multiple times. I also have 5+ years networking and advertising sales with multiple companies. With these companies I have worked with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. I am a beginner at C++ but will be attending more classes to become better educated on the program. I am a fast learner and eager to hone my craft whatever the project may be. With hard work and passion in whatever I do I have earned some awards with these companies such as Best-of-Blue multiple times which is an award for the Best Salesman at Sears. Also received multiple Employee of the Months and raises for outstanding work and exceeding metrics and goals at Sears, Sam's and Apple. Lastly I was a former Professional Baseball player with the Toronto Bluejays organization and farm league which taught me how to be a team player, working with others and being a professional in multiple aspects of my life.
