I working as a Domestic Energy Assessor, living in the centre of Bury St Edmunds who has recently qualified through the SAVA National Energy Services training scheme. I have spent many years in the sales and marketing arena and have made the bold leap into the field of Home Information Packs where I have made the decision to specialise in the Domestic Energy field. The training has taken some months and SAVA, the training and qualifications body is recognised as one of the best organisations that have arisen as a result of the implementation of home information packs. In 2003, SAVA and National Energy Services joined forces to provide an integrated approach to building and supporting the market for quality residential property surveys, Home Inspectors and HIPs. Through NES, SAVA has the support of a team of over 80 people, including software developers, environmental scientists, building services engineers, building physicists, business specialists and residential surveyors. NES is a trading subsidiary of the National Energy Foundation, an independent charity set up in 1988 to promote energy conservation and provide help to improve energy efficiency in residential buildings. NES also administers the National Home Energy Rating Scheme, the UK's largest scheme. NES and SAVA are based in Milton Keynes at the National Energy Centre, a building designed to high energy efficiency standards. For my part, I am qualified through this body and as I live in the local area I wish to offer my services to you when your clients need the service of producing an Energy Performance certificate for the sale of their home.
