Responsible for all Orthopaedic and Trauma inventory within the DePuy Synthes Central Region.Work with external and internal distributors of our products to ensure that assets are managed efficiently and within our productivity guidelines to maintain best of class inventory turn rates by product family and business unit.

Lead GHX's supplier implementation and consulting efforts for its solution suite of software products geared towards increasing transaction volume and efficiency through entry into the implantables space of the healthcare supply chain. I am able to help medical device manufacturers remove costs as they collaborate alongside their healthcare trading partners to synchronize data, align case management processes, and increase the speed of transactions. This work is an integral piece of the "5 in 5" GHX initiative that strives to remove over $5B from healthcare expenditures within 5 years. In this time of rapid industry change, I am proud to be part of an organization that takes a neutral stance to solving the challenges of the entire healthcare system from providers to manufacturers, GPO's, and distributors.Highlights of my work include:· Led execution and day to day operations of multiple concurrent projects resulting in timely delivery of revenue for many of the industry’s most influential device manufacturers.· Delivered presentations to customer executive teams resulting in sales of over $1M of incremental business.· Leveraged industry experience while assisting commercial team in ROI model development.· Drove change within various customer environments using proven process flow discovery, gap analysis, and change management methods.· Developed the collection and presentation of pilot metrics to showcase the value of project activities to our group of industry advisory board members.

Worked alongside Zimmer's base of 30 independent distributors to reduce inventory requirements at the time of surgery.Analyzed inventory trends to reduce field inventory. Identified unproductive assets, and retrieved over $33M of these assets. The retrieval of these assets freed up valuable resources that allowed Zimmer to launch new products to sustain its place at the top of the industry. Initiated a project to mitigate Zimmer’s annual exposure to E&O expense. Two projects were performed concurrently: a field management process assisting territory operations staff with the management of near expiry implants; and an internal project focused on Zimmer’s scrap/re-work policies. Practiced proven change management procedures during each of this initiatives to insure they progressed within Zimmer’s field of indirect distributors.

Working at VanAusdall has been an exercise in problem solving, teamwork, and patience. My specific role has been one of creating processes that reduce customer inefficiencies. Project implementations begin by identifying the most necessary areas for improvement and end by successfully following a structured project plan. This approach ensures that a customer's ROI is obtained within the first year.

I was directly responsible for maintaining the inventory levels throughout the Tennessee and Alabama region. This included issuing re-orders, replacements, and negotiating with other territories to obtain hard to find items. I would then prepare implants and instruments for surgeries that drastically improved our patients' quality of life.

I was responsible for creating a monthly report that was sent to the company's President and other key decision makers. This report consisted of updated sales data, projected sales, and inventory levels of the company's PowerPro line of surgical power tools. Data was obtained through constant communication with sales representatives.
