Supervising and ensuring all company procedures for the Marine Crews are followed and supervise all aspects of Stability and rig structure.To maintain the marine sections of the procedures manual ensuring that procedures are followed and updated or modified as necessary.To participate, with the OIM, MODU management and client’s representatives in forward planning to ensure the provision of resources and materials too safely, efficiently and cost effectively conduct operations of the MODU.To ensure that all employees, are regularly instructed and trained in the procedures to be followed in an emergency, particularly the use of lifesaving, fire-fighting, personal protective and other safety equipment. Act as on scene commander for all on board emergency situations ensuring all emergency teams are fully trained on all emergency equipment.During intermediate and five year rig surveys I am responsible for planning external audits through The American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) ensuring all aspects of the survey is approved and on schedule.Lease with company management for the long term up keep and shipyard upgrades of the Installation. While in shipyard supervise third party contractors ensuring all projects are completed and that all correct certification is in place when work complete.Organizing all third party LOLER six monthly inspections. Assist with the planning and execution of Rig moves, liaising with customers and third party rig movers on the rig capabilities, ensuring company procedures for anchor handling are followed and for the safe operation of anchor winches.Supervise all loading/offloading dry and wet bulks according to procedures ensuring all loading hoses are maintained to protect the environment. Implement and carry out preventative maintenance schedules and paperwork involvedFollow and adhere to Company operations procedures and good knowledge of vessel Safety Case
