Project Focal - MRO (Aftermarket Operations) for Pratt and Whitney. Core member of four person team tasked with collecting and reporting build, balance, and vibration measurements for Pratt aftermarket repair operations across the globe. As the first team to undertake this task, the resulting database has been built from the ground up, allowing the team to customize it to suit the specifications of Pratt process engineers. Data is pulled from a Pratt remote server via Visual Basic in Microsoft Excel, before being ported to a Microsoft Access database. From Access, the team releases a weekly report tracking build and balance trends in the manufacturing process. Engine Dynamics and Loads for Pratt and Whitney. Tasks include tracking and reporting on key process characteristics for a number of Pratt and Whitney engine programs. Various build and balance parameters are collected via Visual Basic and maintained in a Microsoft Access database updated consistently. Using Minitab Statistical Software, a weekly report is generated which tracks trends and distributions within the population of data to ensure process capability.
