I am the President of Energex S.A., a medium-sized company that is a leading integrator of technology infrastructure solutions in Colombia. We currently have 75 employees in our headquarters in Bogota, 47 Commercial Distributors and 7 Authorized Service Centers nationwide. In all, depending on the workload and execution of large projects, I manage approximately 150 people. I am responsible for the competitiveness, growth and profitability of the organization and for ultimately choosing the portfolio of products and services that we offer to our clients. In addition, I establish and execute the strategic vision of the firm. This entails working closely with the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee in deciding where we want the company to be in the short, medium and long-term, and making sure that the execution of these goals is closely monitored and ultimately achieved. I report directly to the Board of Directors, and hold meetings with them on a quarterly basis to discuss financial results and key strategic issues. I am also the leader of the Executive Committee, which is comprised of the Commercial Director, the Engineering Director, the Technical Service Director, the Financial Director and the Information Systems Director. The Committee meets twice a month to review the results of the firm in general and of all of the different departments. One of my main responsibilities is to closely monitor all the results and make sure that they are in line with the goals of the company and of each department, and take corrective actions when the results deviate from our goals.
