Senior Information Security Officer
CurrentCybersecurity co-lead, NSF XSEDE program. Responsibility and authority for cybersecurity risk analysis, design and implementation of security instrumentation, controls and monitoring, incident handling and response, and continuous security improvement for XSEDE central services, in coordination with XSEDE service providers and NSF-funded HPC centers. Additional responsibilities include evaluation and design of XSEDE infrastructure services, design and implementation of HPC and cloud infrastructure and security for big data projects at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, and representation on behalf of PSC and XSEDE in international standards bodies associated with federated identity management, authentication providers and HPC infrastructure operations.
