I am a recent graduate of UW – La Crosse (August 2020) and am seeking full time employment in the Network/Systems Administration field. I have experience in IT maintenance, administration, and development and work well in both team and self-directed roles. I am willing to relocate. I am enthusiastic about new technologies and their implications in business, strive to be outgoing, and am always looking to make good connections. My strengths as a coworker and passion for people make me a great addition to any team. As a team member, I am naturally optimistic and always maintain an uplifting, ambitious and excited attitude when it comes to my occupation. I enjoy communicating with my coworkers and clients and helping them discover the most effective and efficient way to meet their needs. I've done a variety of work in the past that have improved my skills as an eligible employee. I began my career path working with technology from quite a young age, and have built up a wide variety of technical experience. While working at the school district of Hartford Jt. 1, I was able to develop my skills as a technician. I learned a great amount in the ways of hardware repair, networking, and other forms of IT services. Then, my software development internship at Skyline Technologies taught me the value of consulting with consumers, how to work within a team to complete large projects, and vastly improved my development and coding skills. I was fortunate enough to work as a Help Desk Technician at Toro, which gave me exposure to project based work, a ticketing system, and gave me the opportunity to support an operation in a manufacturing environment. Finally, my time as a Desktop Support Technician at Logistics Health Inc. has given me the chance to work with a team to support a large, ever changing operation, and even to lead and train others at times. My passion for technology has motivated me to complete many online courses in a desire to expand my skill set. I have taken courses involving full stack web development with both C# and Python back ends, bash scripting, Windows Server and Active Directory administration, Group Policy administration, VMware vSphere Professional, and Ansible automation and DevOps. In addition to these online courses, this passion has driven me to experiment with enterprise systems in a self-administered home-lab "data center"-like setting. Doing this has allowed me to gain experience with enterprise systems, both hardware and software, in a sandbox environment, and has truly allowed me to explore and learn.
