During my tenure at Presage I have developed over 400 image analysis pipelines classifying a wide range of tumor cell phenotypes. In that time, I conceived of a distributed image batch processing solution and worked on implementing it with our database programmer. This effort streamlined Presage’s image analysis process from a time consuming manual image batch processing procedure to a customized CellProfiler image processing cluster saving significant time and money. I also implemented a Levey Jennings QC process which detects IHC batch staining process deviations when they occur. I am also responsible for performing the data analysis for our canine clinical trial which has surpassed over 50 dog patients.I have a B.S. in Chemistry (highest honors) from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and a M.S. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Washington. Before moving to industry, I worked as a Research Scientist in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the University of Washington. My work there focused on the use of aptamers for tissue diagnostic pathology applications. Colleagues know me as agreeable, responsible, and productive scientist. I am always committed to using my technical experience, scientific knowledge, and team-building ability to create effective solutions for any problem which may arise.
