► As a long term career Derek has served Big Four global accounting firms as a Partner/Director since 1998. His role was specialized in corporate finance, M&A, non-performing loans, distressed assets and corporate restructuring advisory practice.► He has more than 30 years corporate finance related working experience across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Australia. He has assisted MNCs and SOEs in completion of sizeable cross-border transactions in China.► Derek was admitted to Partnership of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as China equity partner in 2006. Before moving to Beijing, China in 2004 Derek worked as Senior Director in Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Taiwan. ► Before working in EY, he was appointed as Partner and Executive Committee Member by Plateau Private Equity Fund in 2013-14, which is one of the largest local private equity funds in China. In past five years the fund has invested more than CNY 20bn into non-listed equity market in China. He was responsible for deal origination and project management. Derek successfully closed a 2bn equity investment of AVIC, a first tier central SOE in China in 2013.
