As a co-op student working for Nottawasaga I assisted the technicians I was working with to the best of my ability. I assisted in installing various furnaces, boilers, and a/c units, as well as in-floor heating loops. In the service department I went on numerous maintenance calls for equipment ranging from 40K Btu instantaneous water heaters to 399K Btu boiler systems. Outside of the work I spent time researching the equipment and systems to get a better understanding of best practices and further my knowledge.

Packaged large commercial car wash equipment in crates to be shipped on tractor trailers or stored in a warehouse until the customer requested the equipment. Managed day-to-day emergency parts orders and larger parts orders to be completed on a weekly basis. Developed a thorough understanding and skill using 6 tonne bridge cranes in the plant. Designed packaging process for multiple new products to ensure safe transport. I was also a member of health and safety committee making sure that both MacNeil and its employees worked safely.
