• Following RQIA and NHS standards.• Assisting in the promotion of continence, providing comfort and dignity for residents.• Answering Nursing call system, providing assistance as required, as well as answering the door and telephone appropriately.• Cleaning and maintaining equipment used by the client, wheelchairs, Zimmer’s, Hoists Chairs, Commodes.• Assisting with showers, dressing and undressing, shaving, feeding, toileting, taking to and from bed.• Reading care planning needs for patients and complete written daily records as skin checks, fluids intake hygiene records.• Ensuring patients are wearing clean garments and properly groomed at all times• Reporting accidents and incidents to nurse in charge.
