• Secret Clearance•Initial development and continued updates for the Staffing Planner, an Excel based tool that is used by airports to compile year-to-date burn rates for base hours and overtime hours, combined with future hiring plans, training needs, attrition projections, and projected hours worked to meet annualized budgetary goals. This tool is currently utilized nationwide with quarterly updates required by HQ, and provides tracking reports to multiple HQ offices and senior leadership to ensure that airports are on target.• Ongoing Development and updates for Volume Planner, an Excel based tool utilized by HQ to determine workload requirements for annual budget based staffing allocations nationwide. Volume projections are developed by compiling industry-provided and FAA growth projections with upcoming flight schedules and historical throughput data, with continual refinements to increase accuracy.• Routinely pull attrition and hiring data from HRAccess, a SAP based HR database system, for inclusion in various other systems•Routinely pull data from TSA's Performance Information Management System (PIMS), a MicroStrategy based compilation of numerous metrics from field operations.•Provide frequent support to scheduling operations officers in the field for various issues, currently serving as Region 7 (PA, MD, DC, VA, WV, and NC) point-of-contact at HQ.•Subject Matter Expert for Enhanced Staffing Model (ESM). • Secret Clearance•Temporarily assigned duties of Scheduling Operations Officer (SOO, 0301-H), March 2016-Nov 2017, pending authorization of a SOO or equivalent position billet. Duties include ongoing schedule development for 144 uniformed officers, development and implementation of semi-annual bid schedules, authorizing shift trades and schedule trades, ongoing development and utilizing of complex Excel based tools for analyzing and allocating staffing resources, determining needs for scheduled overtime and approving scheduled overtime requests utilizing those Excel based tools, and coordination of daily duty location assignments to ensure optimal efficiency and operational effectiveness in resource allocations.•While performing SOO duties listed above, responsibilities include utilizing communication principles, methods practices, and techniques to defend and explain complex or potentially controversial and sensitive issues, to include presenting shift bid proposals to senior management and the workforce, determining and announcing authorization of schedule trades and shift trades, briefing senior management on required changes to work schedules, and briefing senior management on Staffing Allocation Model (SAM) changes and related staffing plans.
