Critical Care Registered Nurse
Current• Management of Cardiovascular drips in accordance with facility policy and patient condition in order to maintain stable vital signs and stable hemodynamic status.• Performing patient monitoring with invasive devices such as Swan-ganz catheters and Arterial lines to identify changes in patient conditions to report to the treating physician and provide treatment based on values and the physician’s orders.• Interpreting hemodynamic values in order to titrate cardiovascular drips such as Dobutamine, Nipride, and Dopamine to maintain stable vital signs and report findings to physician to guide further treatment of critical patient conditions.• Interpreting ECG recordings and lab values to identify myocardial conditions and electrolyte imbalances to be reported to the attending physician for treatment.• Managing critical cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions by use of invasive devices such as Balloon Pumps independently and Ventilators along with Respiratory Therapy team• Providing bedside care including assistance with activities of daily living, range of motion exercises, and oral and skin care.
