• Supported procurement of $750M in mobile mining equipment by defining technical requirements for request for proposals (RFP) and performing technical bid evaluations (TBE) to evaluate submissions.• Defined preventative maintenance (PM) strategy of mobile mining equipment by conducting failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), collaborating with manufacturers and analyzing historical data.• Modelled and forecasted operating and capital expenditures of mining equipment operation as per the mine plan, supporting annual budget review.

• Returned plant to full production by investigating repeated seal failures of a reciprocating hydrogen compressor, determining the root cause, recommending design changes to the vendor. • Reduced Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) of a steam turbine by analyzing maintenance history, pipe strain, vibration history, natural frequencies, alignment, and oil sample records, implementing several changes to improve the bearing life and reduce vibration. • Improved plant safety by investigating the failure of a high-risk liquid propane pump, conducting root cause analysis (RCA), recommending administrative changes to maintenance procedures, and presenting the findings to the executive leadership of the refinery.
