Lead a team of high performing credit modeling professional to develop various credit measurements critical for retail banking IFRS9, stress testing and Basel capital estimation process. As the regional risk officer, I lead the commercial payment risk management team in Canada and own the end to end credit risk management policy for the commercial card portfolio. The key goal for the team is to develop and maintain credit risk policy for the market, as well as to drive initiatives to improve profitability for the portfolio.The regional risk officer represents risk management on the executive committee, and is responsible for managing the relationship with the general manager and other executive team members of the portfolio.

My primary responsibility was to own end to end credit risk management policy for the small business portfolio. Through rigorous statistical data analysis and financial modeling, I have also developed various revenue enhancement and risk control strategies for both consumer lending portfolio and small business portfolio, including balance transfer strategy and profit maximizing initial line assignment logic. More recently, I have also taken on the responsibility of credit stress testing and ICAAP PTI modeling for Amex Bank of Canada.
