I am a current occupational therapy doctoral student at Northern Arizona University and am projected to graduate in May of 2019. As a developing professional in the occupational therapy field, I am becoming particularly aware and interested in neurological impairments and their effect on individuals and families. Specifically, traumatic brain injuries and their prevalence in the news have caught my attention. In conjunction with this interest, my passion is directing me toward vision therapy and its remediative effects. Pediatric occupational therapy is an area I find interesting and essential. My current vision encompasses combining my two areas of practice. Until graduation, I will continue to explore new fields and likely identify more interests.
