My interest in embedded systems and robotics started in my high school engineering classes where I worked with robotic arms and milling machinery. I decided to attend university to refine my skills in these disciplines. I received my bachelors degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Arizona State University. I currently work for Southwest Research Institute as a Research Engineer. My interests now include embedded systems, operating systems, Internet of Things applications, robotics and related areas.
