I consulted on local government land use planning and regulatory approval process for a variety of developers and property owners, including projects and studies on vacation accommodations, recreational properties, subdivisions and senior housing developments throughout the Alberni-Clayoquot region. Working collaboratively with senior oversight, I am respected for sound political judgment and a focus on community benefits and sustainable profitability. This includes executive management experience reviewing equitable land uses in compliance with government mandated regulations, environmental concerns and market demands, including direction and guidance options on the impacts and effects of various project proposals.

I served as the Regional Director of Sproat Lake for two terms and have served as the Chair, and Vice-Chair of the ACRD and served on a variety of local government committees, commissions, and appointments to outside boards and agencies. I was responsible for leading and managing changing and complex day-to-day affairs for a diverse community. I have worked in challenging environments to embrace constituent benefits through a unified strategic vision and implementation process.
