 Lead Research Support Scientist for KSC labs on hundreds of flight science payloads Manage lab and project assignments for 8 lab personnel and over 100 customers per launchcampaign An expert in development of processing projects including forecasting and schedulingpersonnel and resources Expand and maintain good working relationships with Payload Developers for projects thatProcess at KSC Serve as main point of contact for Payload Integrations Managers (PIM) for all CRS-1 SpaceXmissions and facilitate completion of requirements by various payloads Plan and coordinate with payload Integration Managers (PIM’s) to start the process of gatheringrequirements for payloads at KSC Negotiate requirements including space, scientific equipment supplies and chemicals providedto customers Review requirements, organize and coordinated the assignment of payloads to twenty sevenlabs by producing and updating the research support lab schedule Serve as delegated authority in absence of group manager to report project readiness andsupport activities to upper management Communication and coordination with Principle Investigators (PI) and NASA personnel toensure timely and smooth processing of ISS payloads Facilitate and support ISS payload operations from KSC initiation through completion Develop and train staff on use of the Payload Support Requirements Document (PSRD) Implement document desktop processes and procedures for payload customer support. Perform inventory management for lab equipment and maintained the inventory database. Establish and maintain ongoing positive relationships with PI’s, PM’s, PIM’s from the JapaneseAerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), European Space Agency (ESA), & various NASAcenters. Coordinate with PI’s, TOSC export control, and USDA to create and submit permits for wildand genetically modified science samples Maintain and operate biological lab equipment Support and complete Planetary Protection course
