Dina Brown is an alum of Illinois State University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in the Graphic Design sequence. Throughout her time at Illinois State, she completed two design internships and worked as an Ad Production Artist at the student-run newspaper, The Daily Vidette. Before ISU, she had already accrued nearly two years of professional design experience with an Associate in Applied Science degree from Illinois Central College, with a major in Multimedia. She has worked with clients on a variety of projects and mediums such as posters, brochures, websites, and identity packages. She is most passionate about company branding, and especially the opportunity to rebrand an ailing business. She also has experience with photography, audio production, video production, and editing. Her five years as a barista at Starbucks has given Dina excellent customer service skills and she looks forward to a career working with people in all areas of business.Dina's previous work experience affords her the opportunity to begin each project with a solid foundation. She does this by making sure that there is an evident structure to every layout, a clear and concise solution to the problem is being communicated, and that the visuals properly represent the emotional experience inferred by the client. This method results in an increase in exposure, more customer involvement, and an improvement in sales for the client. She has been recognized for her work produced during Illinois State University with multiple awards from various organizations. In the time since graduation, Dina has already been fortunate enough to work for two internationally recognized companies and gained invaluable knowledge and experience from their respective creative teams, and multiple years of work and experience with the largest retail art supplier in the United States.
